These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Chelsea Driving School services. By booking or taking lessons, you agree to these terms.

  1. INTRODUCTION

Chelsea Driving School operates as a driving school that introduces pupils to qualified driving instructors operating within the Chelsea Driving School network.

Throughout these Terms:

  • “Pupil” refers to any individual receiving driving instruction
  • “Instructor” refers to the DVSA-approved driving instructor providing the lesson
  • “School” refers to Chelsea Driving School
  1. INSTRUCTOR RELATIONSHIP

Chelsea Driving School introduces you to an instructor operating under the Chelsea Driving School brand.

Instructors are self-employed professionals and are not employees of Chelsea Driving School.

Your agreement for lessons is therefore directly between you and your instructor.

Chelsea Driving School is responsible for arranging the introduction but does not directly provide the driving lesson.

  1. LESSON BOOKINGS

Lessons must be booked and agreed directly with your instructor.

Lesson availability may vary depending on instructor schedules.

Where possible, we aim to provide lessons at a convenient time and location, as agreed with your instructor.

  1. PAYMENTS

Payments for driving lessons must be made directly to your instructor, unless otherwise agreed.

Chelsea Driving School does not process or hold payments for lessons.

Lesson prices, block bookings, and payment methods will be agreed between you and your instructor.

Chelsea Driving School accepts no responsibility for payment disputes with instructors.

  1. CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in the lesson being charged in full.

Instructors reserve the right to cancel or rearrange lessons due to circumstances such as illness, vehicle issues, or other unforeseen events.

  1. PUPIL RESPONSIBILITIES

Before taking driving lessons, you must:

  • Hold a valid UK provisional driving licence
    • Ensure you are medically fit to drive
    • Inform your instructor of any medical conditions or disabilities that may affect your driving

You must also:

  • Follow all instructions given by your instructor during lessons
    • Behave in a safe and responsible manner

Instructors reserve the right to refuse or terminate a lesson if behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate.

  1. DRIVING TESTS

The instructor will advise when they believe you are ready to take your practical driving test.

However, the decision to book a driving test ultimately rests with the pupil.

Chelsea Driving School and the instructor cannot guarantee that you will pass your driving test.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Chelsea Driving School will not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from:

  • Lesson cancellations or delays
    • Instructor availability
    • Driving test outcomes

Chelsea Driving School is not responsible for instruction provided by individual instructors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability is excluded where applicable.

  1. DATA PROTECTION

All personal information provided to Chelsea Driving School will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Your contact details may be shared with an instructor solely for the purpose of arranging driving lessons.

  1. COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint, please contact Chelsea Driving School directly.

We will aim to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

If the issue cannot be resolved, it may be referred to the relevant driving instructor.

Chelsea Driving School cannot accept liability for disputes between pupils and instructors.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Chelsea Driving School reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
