Passed a manual test this morning! Derek is a brilliant instructor. He’s been patient and willing to come to your level to adjust to your learning style. I had never driven manual before but he made it very simple to get to grips with and he has a wealth of experience to share.

Mary was a fantastic driving instructor! I started lessons at 5 months pregnant as an extremely nervous driver. Despite the challenges of my nerves, pregnancy and then later post-partum sleep deprivation Mary had me pass first time, something I never imagined would be possible! She is a kind, friendly instructor who knows exactly how to teach you so that you keep growing as a driver week by week. I am so grateful that I had Mary as a driving instructor and would certainly reccomend her to anyone else!

My instructor Tariq was literally the best driving instructor i can think of - he was calm funny a great teacher and i’m actually sad i passed my test (first time) as it means we’re not gonna have any more lessons together 😭😭😭 thank you so much!!!

I had a really great experience with this school. I already had some driving experience, and Tariq helped me adjust to driving in London and build my confidence.

When he couldn’t take me for my test, the school arranged for Maryam, who was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. She quickly understood what I needed to focus on, explained things clearly, and made sure I felt ready and eased my nerves before going into the test.

Both instructors were also very adaptable with my evening hours, which I really appreciated. Overall, such a positive experience and would definitely recommend!

Maria was absolutely amazing and incredibly patient with me. After previous bad experiences with driving instructors, I was very nervous and almost gave up on learning to drive. I had never driven before and struggled with a manual car, but deciding to try again with an automatic and finding Maria completely changed everything.
She is calm, kind, and very professional, always on time and happy to repeat things as many times as needed without ever making me feel bad. I’m in my 40s and had never driven before, so having such a supportive instructor meant more to me than I can say. I passed my driving test on my first attempt with only one minor fault, and her support on the day — especially helping me calm my nerves — was incredible.
I can’t recommend Maria enough to anyone looking for a patient, understanding, and truly supportive driving instructor.
She is just the best!

Passed over a year ago with Maria!
Had my first attempt at driving 9 years ago which didn't go so well so I kinda gave up after moving to London. Having decided to brave the streets of London I found this school. Maria's instruction was always super clear, not once did she get agitated or frustrated with me. Passed on the first try! Superb tutor, 10/10 would recommend!

Ronnie was the best driving instructor I have ever had. He helped me pass my UK automatic driving test the first time and he did the same for my husband. We are from the USA and have driven our whole lives, however I was having the hardest time passing my UK driving test with other instructors. Ronnie paid attention to where I needed to fine tune my skills and made it possible for me to finally pass the test with him the first time, when other instructors had failed me. Thank you so much Ronnie! I look forward to seeing you out there on the streets of London :)

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor. From day one, Leon was incredibly kind, calm and, most importantly, patient. He explained everything clearly and in a way that made learning to drive feel manageable.

He created such a relaxed learning environment, there was never any pressure, just steady guidance and encouragement. Thanks to Leon’s clear explanations and structured approach, I always felt like I understood not just what to do, but why I was doing it.

He was also very proactive in helping me secure a test date and was always responsive and flexible when it came to scheduling lessons. That level of support made a huge difference.

I’m genuinely grateful for the experience and couldn’t recommend him more highly to anyone looking to learn in a calm, professional and supportive way.

Ronnie is an amazing driving instructor. He’s extremely patient, knowledgeable, and always explains things clearly. I had a positive experience being taught by instructor, Fatmir. After two months of lessons, he helped me be test-ready and I passed my practical driving test at West Wickham.

Fatmir has a calm and effective teaching style that doesn’t add unnecessary pressure, but shows you how to improve. He’s very encouraging and always gives positive feedback when things go well, like spotting tricky road signs or handling awkward traffic situations.

Fatmir is an amazing driving instructor. I had lessons with him for about a year and he was very patient, kind and experienced. In each lesson I learn new things and he gives me many useful tips to pass the driving test. Also very responsive when it comes to messages out of lesson.

Derek was an incredible driving instructor (the best one too). Being taught how to drive by a very likeable personality who explains mistakes and errors clearly, allowed me to pass first time.

Instead of raising his voice or showing frustration at minor errors, Derek would calmly explain what I did wrong, and how to fix it, which meant it’s very unlikely to repeat mistakes with him. I’ll never forget how much I learned from Derek, and what a nice man he is. It really goes a long way.

I’d recommend Derek to every single learning driver there is.

Hi there! I recently passed my driving test first time after taking lessons with Chelsea Driving School. I started my lessons in September, and today (28th November) I passed — all thanks to my amazing instructor, Fatmir Beqiri.

He was incredibly patient, professional, and supportive throughout the whole journey. He helped me build my confidence behind the wheel, explained everything clearly, and made every lesson enjoyable and productive, and made sure I was fully ready for my test.

Maria was a fantastic instructor for automatic driving. I really enjoyed her lessons - she was calm, kind, switched on and had confidence in me. I received clear feedback on areas I needed to watch out for/improve on and we did a lot of the test routes, and redid junctions/roundabouts I found difficult, which helped me pass with no faults! I 100% recommend. 😊

Sajjad was so kind, patient and dedicated to my passing! Changing to UK after years of driving in the US proved a challenge, but he was up to it with a sense of humour and a positive attitude, and helped me figure out how to book the tests as well. His car "Shirley", a manual, was always clean and lovely, and Sajjad was always on time and ready to go, with full focus on the lesson. He is a brilliant driver with very good advice about how to handle the car - quite useful even after years of driving. And yes, I passed!

Absolutely superb! I passed first time with Ronnie. The instruction is superb. The car pristine. The manner of teaching fantastic. I could not recommend him enough & already have to all my friends.

Perfectly supportive, punctual, and experienced. I was given encouragement, helpful tips, advice, and corrections when needed.

But most importantly, he's just likable. And a pleasure to be instructed by.

Tariq is a wonderful instructor! I spent a few months taking lessons with Tariq and had the best time learning to drive. The lessons were always constructed very well and we covered all the topics needed for the practical test. Not only did I learn a lot but I also had a fun time as well which to me was really important. I highly recommend Tariq if you are needing an instructor!
